Our patented technology is being developed as an active component for nursing and hospital beds. The animation below illustrates the intended operating principle of the current concept; a functional prototype has not yet been built.

How the technology works

At the heart of the system are several narrow bands that move continuously in opposing directions. Their coordinated motion is intended to shift pressure between contact areas over time and provide gentle mechanical tissue stimulation.

The system is conceived for quiet, continuous operation during rest and sleep. Comfort, safety and technical performance will be assessed during prototype development.

Conventional solutions primarily redistribute pressure passively; our approach adds active motion at the patient–bed interface.

Technical performance and potential clinical effects require subsequent testing and validation.
